Game Review
Following the unpleasantness of the previous meeting in round 4, there was much conjecture as to whether the Students would turn out for the return clash. In the event, Carlton took the field without Martin Gotz and Alex Barningham (apparently on a fishing trip!!!) but the Blues still grabbed third place on the ladder after this percentage-boosting win by 44 points. At the end of this round Carlton were in 3rd spot on the ladder with a percentage of 130.0.
