Game Review
George Challis was given leave from the Army to play.Carlton defeated the Cats, who were sitting equal last, by 14 points. The Blues were off target and should have won by a lot more, however, the closeness of the scores kept interest in the result of the match. The best play was after half time, but both teams failed to goal in the final term.
At the end of this round Carlton were in 3rd spot on the ladder with a percentage of 134.6.
