Game Review
Collingwood proved their League leadership by soundly beating Carlton by 15 points to revenge an earlier defeat at Princes Park. They jumped the Blues early and were never headed. Carlton's score of 15.16.106 was their highest at Victoria Park since winning in 1969. They had more scoring shots than the Magpies, but the accuracy, short passing and dominance of Collingwood's little men was too much for a team who had many top players below form.
