Game Review
Carlton would win their second match in a row with a close win over the previous year’s Preliminary Finalist, the Western Bulldogs. A third quarter blitz of 7.0 would again win it for the Blues who held on despite being outscored 5.6 to 3.4 in the last quarter.Carlton were 7th on the ladder with a percentage of 97.3.
Bulldogs Scott Wynd and Chris Grant were also fined for wrestling.
This game is remembered fondly by Carlton fans, and is considered one of our best wins in the Home & Away rounds of the 1990's. For more games like this, please click here.
