Game Review

Ron De Iulio set the MCG alight with five goals in just his 3rd game of his career. Despite the early loss of Stephen Silvagni, the Blues had plenty of scoring options with Tom Alvin contributing four goals. Craig Bradley with 35 disposals was best afield, whilst youngsters Michael Sexton & Fraser Brown continued to show why they would become great players in the years ahead.

Carlton registered its 100th win at the MCG, this was the 203rd time the Blues had played at the MCG.
