Game Review
Carlton's wayward kicking for goal was doubly costly on this cool afternoon at Glenferrie Oval. Hawthorn and Carlton had the same number of scoring shots at goal, but the Blues lost by 20 points and dropped to seventh spot on the ladder. From the first bounce the Blues were outplayed by the Hawks with their bumping, high marking, and pace. Carlton lacked teamwork and played mostly as individuals who were run off their feet in the final term and failed to score.
Did You See?
"The Carlton trainer run onto the ground; 'attend' to the injured Hands, who then immediately went to full forward and scored sixth goal for his team?"
