Game Review
Carlton officials were fuming over an incident that had Peter McConville in pain on Saturday. McConville was flattened after taking a mark and has a bruised groin for his trouble. It raises the question of what is and what is not reportable. I am not saying that any Collingwood player was guilty of an offence, but a player was hurt and there was at least a question mark over the lateness of the tackle. Over to you umpires. - Jim Main Inside Football
Collingwood stormed to the top of the VFL ladder with a big win over previous leaders Carlton. The Magpies kicked 11 goals straight immediately after the quarter time break while the Blues managed only 2.4 in the same time. - Football Record.
