Thomas Henry Chuck born March 04 1856 in St.Kilda, son of Thomas Foster Chuck who emigrated to Melbourne in 1852.
Thomas Chuck (senior) became a well known photographer in Melbourne and Ballarat. His son Thomas Henry joined his father's business and was also a photographer. 'T. H'. was the Carlton Football Club secretary for just one year, 1881.
He died just short of his 64th birthday after an illness on February 22 1920 in Melbourne.

The writing in the bottom left hand corner says, "Presented to highest scorer. Won by D. W. Gregory in match Australian XI v 18 Victoria, played March 1878."
